Angry Birds is an app that was released back in the winter of 2009. A year and a half later, it is still going strong. It has been sitting at #1 for the longest period, maybe it was bumped to number 2 a few times, however steadily, climbed back up. Why am I reviewing it this late in the game you ask? Well the user interface is simple, it is entertaining, and of course, let’s not forget the empathy for the eggs that need to be rescued. Surely one of those factors will be more than the others in our own ways. But the result is the same; this app is entertaining at any age, no matter how serious or quirky you are. This app surely has what it takes to get you coming back for more. The objective is fairly simple, all you do is pull and shoot on the slingshot and hope for the best. Each level is different and that will surely extend the value of this app.
With all the excitement of saving the eggs from the sinister pigs, this is surely a family affair. Not only your child will get a kick out of knocking things over with birds, you get to join in the fun as well. Angry Birds by Rovio Mobile.
