Why does this app deserve a Happy Face?  Didakto - Synendo

DidaktoDidakto is like the Swiss army knife of kid’s educational apps. This app has a lot packed into it which makes it a great value. This app is designed for kids raging in ages 4 through 12, but what we like about this app is that it’s a great app to play along with your kids. There are great exercises for the younger children and the older children will definitely be challenged too. In fact, we’d bet a lot of the parents may find themselves puzzled on some of the questions in the harder exercises.

The play concept is simple and repeats throughout. Simple and clean UI. The object is to complete a picture puzzle which is divided up and scrambled by matching the image tiles to the corresponding matching answers. There are four major categories to choose from; Math, Language, Logic and Geography. Each major category has multiple subcategories. For example, if you select Math, you can then choose from counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, decimals, telling time and adding time. The other major categories don’t have quite as many sub categories, but this variety offers a lot of different challenges. In fact, there is even a third level of category configuration for some of the modes. On top of that, there is also a setting to change the number of image tiles (layout grid) for each game making it easier or harder as desired.

You can also import your own photo from the photo album on the device which is nice. Otherwise, the images for the puzzles will be randomly chosen from the default library included with the app.

This app touches on a lot of fundamental educational concepts which include, vocabulary, shapes, colors, patterns, logic, letters, math, time, countries, landmarks, flags and more! So there is really something for everyone. Great for families with multiple kids. This app is Happy Face Approved because of its rich diversity in game play and challenge. It can really be fun for the parents to play along with the kids and it focuses on an age group which does not get a lot of attention in the educational app space. This app can help put the fun back into family game night so you’ll definitely want to consider this one.

This game will keep your children playing for months. I like that this is a true family game and that there is no timer here or high scores – something that I greatly appreciate.
